DescriptionWithin Amazon, the Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) org is responsible creating the spaces that inspire Amazonians to make history. GREF provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, space and occupancy planning, capital investment program management, facility maintenance, and operations in more than 60 countries.We are looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Insights to develop more data driven capabilities to further empower GREF to improve the customer experience, and optimize operational performance. You will do so by partnering closely with BI and Customer Insights developing mechanisms and interfaces that help leaders deeply understand KPIs, the correlations and dependencies between them, and opportunity areas that require action. You will partner with Customer Insights to devise additional research studies and lead data analytics for quantitative studies. You will also Think Big - leveraging internal and external data to devise new strategies that inform OP1 and 3YF planning. As part of the Global Transformation & Insights team, you will work cross-functionally with various GREF and Amazon stakeholders in developing business strategies and plans that optimize GREF performance. You will also leverage insights to help leaders build data stories.We are looking for a passionate, big thinker that is a creative manipulator of seemingly disparate data, and can partner with leaders to turn insights into thoughtful, long-term business strategies that improve customer experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for, among other tasks, working with BI, finance, customer insights, tech, GREF functional leaders and their teams, and cross-Amazon stakeholders.You have a strong attention to detail and polished written and verbal communication skills, and ideally have a strategy, research, analytics, or business/P&L management background.Key job responsibilities
Demonstrate success in informing, analyzing, and developing insight reports for quantitative user experience research data
Build and lead reviews of customer and business data - identifying key trends, data stories, and opportunities
Prove performance of initiatives against business metrics
Lead org OP1/3YF planning - working with leaders to set org priorities and strategies based on data insights, and pull together compelling data driven narratives
Leverage internal and external data to inform benchmarking and opportunity sizing
Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to build trust with and influence others
Balance operational and strategy work, using documentation to bring clarity and alignment across teams and stakeholders, balancing deep thinking with quick action, and using mechanisms to organize and drive forward strategy investments.
Develop mechanisms to track, analyze and report on individual campaign results and consult on big picture business trends
Innovate, implement and test learning strategies that drive scalable impact
Develops best practices in engagement and execution that serve as a model for partner teams

The base pay for this position ranges from $179,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $296,500/year in our highest geographic market.
