Description:Our client in South Seattle is looking for an on-site Technical Support Specialist to join their team. The culture at this facility is fun, social and very team oriented. Our team member will handle all day-to-day technical projects and support. They will work closely with their co-workers not only in Seattle, but also around North America to complete and support Information Technology projects.This position is for an on-site Technical Support Specialist. This facility is a food processing plant. The client is an international corporation. The candidate should have at least two to four years of experience in the Information Technology field.This position will do the following: Handle all technical support tickets for the site as they are submitted Work with experienced IT staff in the U.S. and Canada on implementation projects Work with IT vendors such as Internet Service Providers and contractors as needed to resolve issues Document resolved tickets and projects Effectively communicate with onsite management and those in the direct chain-of-command Participate in project planning meetings for company projects Be the eyes, ears and feet on the ground for corporate IT and effectively communicate IT-related information Be willing to work some weekends and after-hours for maintenance or special projectsSkills:Technical support, Windows 10, Active Directory, SCCM, O365, intuneTop Skills Details:Technical Support, Windows 10, Active Directory, SCCM, O365, intuneAdditional Skills & Qualifications: 4-Year degree in a related field from an accredited institution Outstanding communication skills using email, in-person and telephone, and internal messaging systems. Knowledge of TCP/IP General knowledge of IT products and services and the ability to research products and services MOST IMPORTANTLY: Being able to come in and take ownership of your department, having confidence in your abilities to communicate effectively with everyone from the factory floor to the manager and providing updates through the chain of command.
