This position will be responsible for the organization, development and execution of training new employees. Performs training of newly hired employees, provides re-training on company topics such as policies, procedures, and programs as needs dictate, and conducts group and individualized training for purposes of work performance enhancement and general education. Serves as a procedural and compliance resource for employees in assigned areas. Candidates must have Washington State issued MA-P Pay Range: $19.97/hourly - $40.29Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, additional hours when needed.Work Location: 550 17th Ave. Seattle, WA 98122Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectives

Evaluate new, presently existing, and proposed training methodologies, develop training materials and plans, and deliver training

Conduct training programs for the company. Track and analyze training programs by examining participants’ job performance

Monitor and report the effectiveness of training on employees during the orientation period

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements:This position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Subject to applicable law, all prospective hires will need to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or qualify for medical or religious accommodations.

Experience: We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Some experience conducting training in any capacity is preferable but not required.

Communication: Candidate must have excellent public speaking skills, ability to be empathetic, personable, patient, and engaging.

Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, motivate others, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.

Machine: Calculator, personal computer

Physical Demands: Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on one’s feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping and possible casual to regular lifting of up to 30 pounds.

License/Certification/Education: Must have valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License or have an application for Phlebotomy License filed with Washington Department of Health at time of hire

Travel: Travel required to other sites to assist onboarding and training, 5-10%. Very minimal.
