LA PARISIENNE
Recognized as the most authentic French Bakery and Café, La Parisienne is looking for a full time barista for its store located in Belltown, Seattle.
With over 40 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in France, Patrick Morin owns and operates La Parisienne French Bakery maintaining a high standard of authenticity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Able to work between 40 hours per week, with shifts on Saturday
Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with others
Responsible for closing shift duties with the rest of the team
Make coffee, assemble sandwiches and salads, warm up baked good and operate bread slicer
Positive and energetic attitude with great customer service
Help customers with catering orders
Ability to perform in a fast paced working environment while maintaining efficiency and a smile
Versatility in jobs from serving customers, bussing tables, cashiering, operating the dishwasher and restocking
Ability to work well in a multi-task environment
Be punctual and reliable
Barista experience needed (latte, cappucino etc)
Lead the team on site during the shift (organize tasks, prepare everything for next day)
Help customers with online orders or additional information
Schedule : 7am to 12pm (30 minutes break paid)
Monday- Saturday
Qualifications:
Maintain the standard of service and production of the bakery
Candidate must be above 21 years old.
Proof of authorization or eligibility to work in the United States
Minimum of 1 year experience in retail or food and beverage customer service
Coffee drinks making skills preferred (Coffee Shop Barista)
Able to effectively communicate in English both written and oral forms
knowledge of French preferred but not required
Provide or able to take the King County food worker card within 14 days of hire and the Liquor license within 60 days of hire
Bilingual French/ English (speaking/writing)
1 meal per shift
