Catering Event Lead | Full-Time & Part-Time

Landmark Event Co. is Seattle’s premier multi-event space company with in-house catering by Herban Feast. Spanning across the greater Seattle area, we provide unique guest-centric experiences at our six venues and offsite locations. We are looking for experienced Event Leads.

You will report directly to our Operations Manager. This position is ideal for those who bring professionalism, enthusiasm and diligence to the table through their work.

Compensation (hourly plus tips)

Starting Rates (based on experience): $30-36/hr

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for accurately clocking into/out of shifts.

Overseeing event setup, execution, and breakdown.

Supervising and coordinating the server team (if requested, the bar and culinary team as well) during events.

Ensuring high-quality service delivery to guests.

Managing inventory, equipment, and supplies for events.

Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Training and mentoring server staff.

Collaborating with event coordinators/planners and vendors.

Upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

Maintaining a professional and positive attitude throughout the event.

Adhering to event timelines and schedules.

Maintains food and beverage service at a fine dining level throughout the event. Confidently presenting, serving, replenishing, clearing, etc.

Takes responsibility in event setup, venue upkeep, service execution, event break down and closing.

Remains communicative with their team and engaged throughout the shift.

Maintains Landmark Event Co. rules and policies in a professional manner, incorporating safe work practices in job performance.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in serving and event coordination.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Leadership abilities to effectively manage a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Knowledge of food and beverage operations.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Customer service-oriented attitude.

Attention to detail and accuracy in executing event plans.

Understanding of event planning processes and logistics.

All hands in/all hands out, team-centric attitude.

Open to learning, receive training, redirection, positive critique, etc.

Ability to learn and perform service standards set out by Landmark Event Co.

Job Requirements:

2+ year experience as an Event Lead or Banquet Captain

Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Ability to work on a consistent basis with extended and varied work hours based on business needs

Dependable mode of transportation

Current Washington State Alcohol Servers Permit

Current Washington State Food Handlers Certification

Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages

A high level of mobility is required with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work in weather permitting conditions and withstand loud volume or visual effects

Professionalism in both appearance and fulfilling work duties

Ability to fulfill all Key Responsibilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
