We are seeking an EXPERIENCED short order cook at the Shipwreck Cafe located in Olympia, Wa
Cook Requirements
Two year experience plus in a full-service restaurant preferred.
Experience in cooking.
Breakfast experience is a plus, be able to keep work station clean and organized at all times.
Experience in high-volume, fast-paced family or casual dining environment required.
Must have Food Handlers Card
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work effectively within a team.
Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive.
Be able to work in a standing position with lots of movement around the BOH for extended periods of time and able to lift 40 lbs.
Must have great energy and the Ability to multi task.
Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
Cook wages, $22 starting and advance to $25 depending on your abilities to be a great performer, follow directions and get along with others, plus BOH cash shared tips daily, free daily meal, consistent days off.
The position is 1-9PM Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Thursday.
