Piroshky Baking Company is Seeking Part Time/Seasonal Prep Help
Are you passionate about food and ready to join a dynamic team at our Central Kitchen in Kent, WA? At Piroshky Baking Company, we produce for all our stores, catering, food trucks, wholesale, and home delivery. We're currently seeking seasonal and part-time kitchen prep staff to help keep our operation running smoothly.
Shifts Available:
Start as early as 6:00 AM or as late as 11am. (5 or 8 hours shift)
Flexible scheduling, 7 days a week.
Ideal Candidates Will:
Possess or obtain valid permits needed for the position, keeping them current throughout employment.
Have 1+ year of experience working in a food setting.
Baking experience (1+ year preferred).
Demonstrate the ability to use cleaning chemicals and kitchen machinery safely.
Follow all company procedures and protocols.
Be able to learn, retain information, and follow instructions.
Communicate issues clearly and concisely with the team.
Work independently and adapt to production needs.
Have reliable transportation.
Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the US per E-Verify guidelines.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to get to work on time for scheduled shifts.
Ability to stand for the duration of your shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to push carts that may weigh more than 50 lbs.
Speak and understand English.
