Duties
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed during food preparation and handling.
Assist in menu planning, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Adapt recipes for special dietary needs or preferences when necessary.
Experience
Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Familiarity with meal preparation techniques, including grilling, sautéing, baking, and plating.
Experience in fine dining establishments is a plus but not required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
