Job Summary:
We are looking to add a part time server to our amazing team at Derby Restaurant in Sodo, located inside The Shop.
Duties:
-Greet customers in a kind, friendly and professional manner
-Properly and accurately take guests orders
-Deliver orders in a quick and timely manner and follow all food safety protocols
-Help team members do the same for their tables, and have an efficient work flow to help the restaurant run smoothly
-Bus tables, help do dishes and stock server stations
-Upsell menu items to elevate guest experience
-Be able to work well within a team setting
-Be able to take direction well from managers
Experience
-Prior serving experience preferred
-Currently we are using TOAST, some knowledge would be great however we can train on this
-Customer service experience is a must, be able to communicate respectfully to co-workers and customers
-Strong cash handling experience
-Must work well in a fast paced environment and be able to keep up with the team
Job types:
Part time, three days a week currently and this will be a set schedule.
Tuesday 3pm-8pm
Wednesday 3pm-8pm
Sunday 9am-4pm
Must be available to work the above shifts and there will be plenty of opportunity to pick up shifts during the summer as well as football season is quickly approaching. We are always busy for the games and do ask for extra staffing those days from our team.
Pay: Min + tips, we are in a shared tip pool

Additional info: We host and cater plenty of events every month so there is always an opportunity to pick up hours and work these events. We do partner with a local catering company for these and they range anywhere from 20-1000 people depending on the event.
