Founded in 2010, Kajiken is a Japanese chain for exceptional abura soba (Abura is Japanese for “oil” and soba is a type of Japanese noodle made from buckwheat noodles served with oil, instead of broth). With precise seasoning, meticulous cooking methods, and the finest ingredients, Kajiken creates an unparalleled taste experience that defines the brand. Kajiken has over 100 stores worldwide, including U.S. restaurants based out of Baltimore, Chicago, San Francisco, New York City and more. Our ultimate goal is to become the go-to destination for ramen enthusiasts and those seeking authentic Japanese flavors.

We are looking for (Restaurant Manager):

- A full-time restaurant manager to lead Kajiken's first WA store in Seattle

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a management role in restaurants

- Current salaried management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant

- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety requirements

- Proven ability to resolve conflict and provide mentorship to hourly team members

- Knowledge of inventory management methods and processes are a plus

- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

Responsibilities(Restaurant Manager):

- Directly accountable for the supervision, organization, and daily operation of the Kitchen and Servers teams

- Supervise and manage the Kitchen and Servers team members on food preparation, dining room service, and daily opening and closing routines

- Works with Servers to drive sales, and ensure positive customer dining experience and respond to customer feedbacks

- Maintain and operate social media accounts

- Collaborate with other U.S. Kajiken stores and Japanese teams for brand marketing and other promotional events

We are looking for (Servers):

- At least 1 year of experience in full-service restaurants as a server

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, being friendly and approachable to guests

- Passion for food and beverages that translate into caring about the quality of dishes we serve, and the customer feedback and experience

- Willing to follow all food and workplace safety policies and procedures to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team

- Thrives in high-volume situations, and also remains engaged and active during slower times

- Experience in Japanese restaurants or similar casual dining restaurants are a plus

- Prior experience with Toast or similar POS systems are also highly appreciated

- Be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities (Servers):

- Greet guests warmly and guide them through our menu, offering recommendations and answering questions they may have about our dishes

- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay to kitchen team promptly

- Serve food and beverages with precision and attentiveness, ensuring all orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner

- Anticipate guests' needs throughout their meal and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their dining experience

- Collaborate with fellow Servers, and kitchen team to maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized dining and work environment

Process payments accurately and handling payment transactions with care

We are looking for (Kitchen Crew):

- Full-time or part-time Kitchen crew/Dishwasher/Line Cook

- Minimum 1 year of experience as kitchen crew in a restaurant

- Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety requirements

- Be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities(Kitchen Crew):

- Prepare menu items according to recipe and supervise instructions, including vegetables cutting, egg cooking, and meat preparation

- Cook ramen noodles, appetizers, rice bowls, and prepare the toppings for menu item using Kajiken established recipes and standards

- Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances and work areas to ensure clean, organized and safe working environment

- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality dishes and services

- Support restaurant manager with inventory management and monitor supplies and usage

- Run dishes through the machine throughout the business hours
