Job Summary:
We are looking to add a part time server to our amazing team at Derby.
Duties:
-Greet customers promptly in a kind, friendly and professional manner
-Properly and accurately take guests orders
-Deliver orders in a quick and timely manner and follow all food safety protocols
-Help team members do the same for their tables, and have an efficient work flow to help the restaurant run smoothly
-Bus tables, help do dishes and stock server stations
-Upsell menu items to elevate guest experience
-Be able to work well within a team setting
-Be able to take direction well from managers
Experience
-Prior serving experience (minimum one year)
-Currently we are using TOAST, some knowledge would be great however we can train on this
-Customer service experience is a must, be able to communicate respectfully to co-workers and customers
-Strong cash handling experience
-Must work well in a fast paced environment and be able to keep up with the team
-Must have a positive and upbeat attitude, enjoy working in customer service and be reliable
Job types:
Server: Part-time hours. (flexible availability needed as this will be minimum two shifts a week) and available to pick up shifts during football games as well as events we host. We do require servers agree to working a minimum of two events during the fall/winter each month. We host and cater a lot of holiday parties and these are a great way to bring in extra income.
Pay: Server: Min + tips, we are in a shared tip pool
Host: Min + tip pool percentage per day
