Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a dynamic dental office and contribute to the oral health of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth, laser treatment
- Conduct patient assessments and take vital signs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Take dental x-rays diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive dental care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health, and dental procedures
- Proficiency in using dental office software, we use Open Dental. Can train if needed :)
- Excellent patient assessment skills and ability to identify oral health issues
- Ability to work well with both adults and pediatric patients
Your salary is DOE, and can included bonuses for extra services like laser treatments.
Hours can be up to 37 a week, but are more than happy to accommodate part time scheduled as well.
