We are seeking a back office assistant/medical assistant for busy medical clinic downtown/First Hill Seattle office. Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, able to multitask, team player who is outgoing and friendly with our clients and staff. Medical assistant duties include:
explaining treatment helping with procedures, taking x-rays, rooming patients and helping with back office duties and phone work
Also includes some receptionist duties including answering the phone and checking in patients.
Training and qualifications
No experience required but must have a great work ethic and have interest in the medical field. However, prefer graduates of formal programs in medical assisting/reception, experienced medical assisting/reception or college graduates.
Must be neat and well groomed and have a courteous, pleasant manner.
Medical assistants must be able to put patients at ease and explain physicians' instructions.
Our office atmosphere is fast-paced and dynamic. We offer very competitive pay and benefits. Hours for this position are Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
