Vehicle Processor, Full Time
Local scrap yard looking for a motivated and hardworking employee to process cars for scrap. We are American Northwest Recycling in Port Orchard, WA. We recycle several different types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from our customers. Junk cars that are brought in need to be broken down for processing. If you enjoy working with your hands and don’t mind hard work, we’d love you to come work with us.
Job includes: draining fluids, removing tires, catalytic converters, radiators, preparing engines to be pulled and removing batteries. Experience is helpful but not necessary. Opportunities to operate forklifts, loaders and excavators. Pay is $18/hr. Good attendance and reliable transportation is mandatory. Hours of processors are M-F 7:45-4:30 every other Saturday 8:45am-2:00pm. This position required lifting of up to 75 lbs and we work in all weather conditions. We also buy lunch for the whole crew every Friday. Come join our growing family!
