GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABORER
Riverton Contractors is a local excavation & underground utility installation contractor. This is an entry level position for construction site work. No experience necessary, but experienced laborers are encouraged to apply. Must be 18 years or older. Training is available. You will work in a challenging but rewarding environment where every day poses new tasks, opportunities to gain experience and expand your construction site knowledge. Owners lend their 40+ years of experience. Duties:
- Assist in various construction tasks such as digging, excavating, and moving materials.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure project efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Perform physical labor as required on construction sites.
Experience:
- Prior experience in construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction practices and materials is beneficial.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Physical stamina and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
- Basic understanding of construction processes.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Safety certifications such as CPR/First Aid are advantageous.
