Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our lot, assisting with the preparation of vehicles for sale, and performing basic automotive services. You will ensure our vehicles are in pristine condition and ready for customer viewing.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Maintenance:
Assist in the swapping of parts, including brakes, suspension, and oil changes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Perform routine checks on vehicles to identify maintenance needs and report findings to the service team.
Detailing:
Professionally detail vehicles to enhance their appearance, including washing, waxing, and interior cleaning.
Ensure all vehicles are spotless and presentable for customers.
Lot Management:
Organize and manage vehicle inventory on the lot, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
Conduct regular checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good condition and ready for sale.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional service to customers and staff, demonstrating professionalism and a positive attitude.
Assist customers as needed, answering questions about vehicle availability and features.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in automotive maintenance, detailing, or a similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of vehicle parts and functions, with a willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
