We are a rapidly growing accessibility contractor in need of a part time technician. This could be a unique opportunity for the right person. Perhaps you are semi-retired but looking for something interesting to do a day or two during the week. Perhaps you're a firefighter with a full time job, but are looking for an occasional side job for the days off. We have semi-retired and firefighters on our team currently, and both have been great fits! Maybe you are looking for full time work, but are ok starting part time while learning the work we do.
We are a small business that specializes in accessibility modifications for our disabled and aging in place neighbors. We are contracted with our Medicaid and VA systems to help build things like wheelchair ramps, install grab bars and patient lift systems, and help make bathrooms safer for people with solutions like barrier free showers and walk in tubs. We have a good mix of full and part time people right now, but are always looking for really great people to add to our team.
If it suits your schedule, you would have the ability to work on the days you are available, you set your schedule. Due to our contracts with our state and federal govts, we do ask you be a W2 employee on our payroll. You must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from the jobsite. However we will pay for your windshield time and provide fuel reimbursement, no more sitting in traffic on your time and dime. We will provide all needed tools and materials. We will pay well for a high quality, motivated, and independent worker who is reliable, personable, and of high character. We work throughout Snohomish, Skagit, King, and occasionally Pierce county.
We are a rapidly growing young business, so there are certainly opportunities for advancement for the right person. We typically start at $37.50, but would be willing to pay more for ideal candidates. Ideally you would be located in the Lake Stevens, Marysville, Snohomish, Granite Falls, Arlington area. Must pass a background check as required by our contracts. Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs occasionally and run all power tools commonly found on construction sites safely.
