Aardvark Bark Blowing located right off Canyon and 512 is looking for a motivated individual to add to our team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible on tasks as needed, and can work both independently as well as with our Shop Foreman and Operators as needed.
Mechanical aptitude, light welding, small engine repair, assisting with larger repairs as well as other shop and yard tasks as required. Currently the hours are Monday-Friday from 6:30a-12:00p but there is some flexibility that can be discussed on an case by case basis as well as additional hours available for the right individual.
Examples of normal tasks include:
-Small engine repair (Stihl backpack blowers)
- Repairing / replacing filters and lights on trucks
- Oil changes on vehicles and equipment
- Assisting in larger repairs
- Communication and good working relationships with the field crews
- Assisting with keeping shop clean and organized
- PM tasks such as blowing out filters, checking fluids
Almost all the above is teachable. Keys to success are reliability, ability to stay on task and stay busy, working well as a member of a team and taking ownership of tasks assigned. Primary job location will be on site. Opportunities to assist in the field and learn other aspects of the business and operation are available as well based on performance and fit.
