Traffic Control Services is a professional traffic control company in Western Washington seeking traffic flaggers. We are a family owned business for over 25 years.
The following are requirements for employment with TRAFFIC CONTROL SERVICES as a traffic control flagger.
REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT
You must be 18 years of age or older
You must have a valid Driver's License
You must have reliable transportation on a daily basis
You must be able to stand for extended periods of time, in all weather conditions. You must also be able to see and
hear approaching traffic with the ability to move quickly if need be.
You must be available to work at least 4 days per week.
Compensation of $.62 per mile for anything over 25 miles to jobsite.
We start our flaggers at $22/hour
Set-up crews at $25/hour + $60 per day for Personal truck use
Set-Up requires loading, transporting and setting up equipment including road signs, cones, barrels and arrow and message boards.
There is potential for Prevailing Wage.
WE ARE NOW OFFERING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR MEDICAL AND DENTAL AFTER 60 DAYS.
We are also currently offering a sign-on bonus of $500 after 90 timecards with the company.
PLEASE NOTE THIS A VARIABLE HOUR POSITION. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THE AMOUNT OF HOURS YOU WILL BE WORKING ON A WEEKLY BASIS. TYPICALLY OUR EMPLOYEES WORK BETWEEN 25-40 HOURS PER WEEK DEPENDING ON THEIR AVAILABILITY.
The State of Washington requires all Traffic Control Flaggers to successfully complete a Flagger Certification Course. You will need your flagger certification card, valid driver's license and social security card for orientation. If you are not already certified, we offer the flagger certification at our home office in Tukwila.
