GK Kids and MLC Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer to generate sales either by cold calling or answering requests in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for influencing existing or potential customers to use or refer our services. A successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints. The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company’s clientele base. This is a temp to permanent hire. We highly value intelligence, competence, and dependability in our workforce. This position starts as part time. 20-30 hours weekly. Morning/ Evening shift splits may be available depending on performance and office needs.
Our requirements for this position include:
Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas preferably over the phone
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficient in English
Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
Persistent and results-oriented
Patient and able to handle customer rejection
High school diploma
Telemarketer must be professional in presentation and demeanor, a relationship builder, honest and likeable
Maintain current and accurate knowledge of GK Kids/ MLC direction and goals
Understand and be able to effectively articulate Corporate and Company distinctives
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Reports To: office Manager through email
Consistently schedule consultation meetings
Consistently add new and update existing leads in our CRM ensuring that every business in our territory is contacted, marketed, and messaged through our established sales strategy and as a result positioning the company to bid and secure the right businesses to achieve our ultimate goal
This person will love to sell, be a self-starter, and will support and promote the company’s core value system
This role is primarily responsible for generating leads and setting consultation meetings between qualified Prospective clients and the management Team by implementing the following strategies-
Telemarketing / Sales Development
Regular, consistent touch points to decision makers of serviceable facilities in the Puget sound territory, including but not limited to: Social Media Engagement
Routine sales development duties include, but not limited to: Every CRM contact is called back every 2-3 months
Document all activity in CRM to maintain notes on progress of relationship and status
Qualifying and disqualifying prospects in the system to maintain overall system integrity including using external programs as point of reference
Developing Relationship with Prospective Clients
Cold call people using a given phone directory to sell products or solicit donations
Answer incoming calls from prospective customers
Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
Persuade the customer to use by demonstrating how DSA services
Strong attention to detail
