Established picture framing store in North Seattle is hiring immediately for a full time experienced Designer/Fitter. We have an excellent reputation for design, craftsmanship and customer service and are looking for an individual to excel in all areas.
Responsibilities include ALL types of fittings, i.e. shadow boxes, all types of hinging, textile stretching and sewdown, canvas stretching, glass cutting, etc. In addition to fittings, you will work with customers to design their art work for framing.
Skills required:
Creative designs with knowledge of color
Knowledge of custom framing techniques including archival framing, shadow box framing, canvas stretching, textile framing, all kinds of hinging, repair of art/frames, sew downs, etc.
Hours are 9:30-6:00 Tuesday thru Saturday. No evenings.
