Job Description:
We are a small artisan candy company looking for a highly motivated and competent person to fill a crucial role in the production of our caramels for the Holiday season. The position would entail (but certainly isn't limited to):
-helping to pour caramel batches
-operating our candy wrapping machine (clean and maintain)
-packaging our products
-general cleaning and upkeep.
Since we are a small company, we "wear many hats". You will never be at one task for too long unlike many other manufacturing positions and you will have opportunities to hone your skills at several important tasks in the business.
Applicant should:
-care about making a quality product
-have eagerness to help increase efficiency of production
-be flexible and open to suggestions
-be able to work closely with a small workforce (friendly)
-be able to lift at least 50 lb
We are not necessarily looking for someone that has a ton of manufacturing experience. What is more important is that you are someone who has drive, competency, and the desire to help us get through the busy Holiday season!
Hours are generally Monday-Friday 10 AM-6 PM The position would be starting ASAP and going through right before Christmas.
In addition to hourly compensation, there will be an end of the season bonus.
