Role Description
We are looking to add a full-time Machinist to help us meet the growing demand for our services. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various multi-axis machine tools to produce precision parts from customer drawings and specifications. Once complete, you will be responsible for measuring and inspecting finished parts to ensure compliance with quality and production standards.
Qualifications
Proficiency in the use of various machine tools, including CNC and manual lathes, mills, drills, and grinders
Experience with programming CNC machines and using CAD/CAM software is a plus
Experience with aluminum, steel, and plastic, as well as familiarity with their suitability for various machining processes and applications
Ability to efficiently and accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Proficiency in the use of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to quality and attention to detail
Able to stand/sit for extended periods of time, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in machine shop or similar environment preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
