Terrene, Inc. is a growing, full-service laser cutting, laser etching and laser engraving fabricator servicing Seattle, the Northwest and the nation. Our company also provides quality steel rule die making, die cutting, metal forming and other value-added services. We currently have entry level Shop Assistant positions available for people looking to grow with our company.
The successful team member will be a positive, detail-oriented self-starter. You have integrity, you care about people and you find solutions by making good decisions. Bottom line - You can be relied upon.
Required Skills:
Motivated to learn and receive training.
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Ability to be certified and operate a fork lift (training provided).
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Basic computer knowledge and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
Willingness and ability to perform various types of manual labor.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with loading and unloading machines.
Prepare orders for the next operation in production.
Janitorial duties and general upkeep of work spaces.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
The faster you can learn, the more responsibility you can earn. We prefer to promote from within the organization. Past shop assistants have developed into department leads and management.
This position can be full time or part time to accommodate your schedule. Compensation is dependent upon your experience with a 90-day salary review. We provide health insurance and a quarterly bonus program to full time employees.
