Mavrik Marine, Inc. continues to grow and we are seeking an energetic and experienced HR Manager to ensure Mavrik’s employees grow with us. The HR Manager will have well-seasoned skills in planning, compliance management, employee training, performance management, administrative management, and recruiting. By leading our recruiting efforts and implementing processes that allow us to effectively manage a growing workforce, we will better serve both our customers and employees, the two things that are most important to us.

As we grow to an optimum base of 120 employees, we will rely on the HR Manager to ensure that we grow at all levels of the organization and provide the processes, programs and policies that will add value in everything we do for our employees. Past experience with recruiting, performance management, supervisory training programs in addition to the HR administrative requirements in salary and benefit management is a requirement.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

The Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. The HR Manager will plan, lead, develop, and coordinate the policies, and HR activities, ensuring legal compliance and implementation is aligned with the organization’s mission and long-term plan.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning and alignment of company human resources with the company business

with the company business plan including understanding headcount and responsibility requirements, establishing goals,

coordination of plans with employee benefits and compensation policies, and evaluating company’s HR requirements in

conjunction with analysis of economic trends.

2. Compliance Management: Ensure company policies are in compliance with legal, regulatory and administrative

requirements and standards including state and federal laws, anti-discrimination, health and safety standards and diversity.

3. Resource Planning: Manage all planning, recruitment, job posting management, outreach programs, selection criteria and

process including offers, employment verifications, background checks, interviews, and applicant analysis and trends.

4. Employee Development: Onboarding new recruits, training and technical skill enhancement, training of employee supervisory

and management processes, development of ongoing training, refresher and monitoring programs.

5. Employee Management: Monitoring and managing the workplace experience including employee satisfaction tracking and

management, workplace communications, employee engagement, performance management, turnover management, retirement

planning, employee motivation, employee feedback, recognition programs, and productivity analysis and management.

6. Administrative Management: Management of all ongoing administrative requirements including HR recordkeeping, employee

benefit program management, payroll processing, vacation planning and management, health insurance program monitoring and

review, employee handbook upkeep.

7. Futureproofing: Long term outlook including succession planning, change management, implementation of digital workplace

requirements, new business development analysis and support.

8. Outreach: Management and coordination of company interface including community involvement, facility tours, agency

interface.

9. Performs other activities required to accomplish the mission, goals and objectives of the company as defined by the President.

● Understanding of human resource functions, principles, procedures, and best practices.

● Ability to work independently, and as a team member; self-motivated.

● Must have excellent and effective communication skills (oral and written).

● Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously with people from varied cultural, socioeconomic, educational and experiential

backgrounds.
