Job Summary:
The Mail Room Clerk provides fulfillment support to the sales staff, provides data entry support for the bookkeeping department, as well as providing various clerical assistance.
Responsibilities:
1. Administrative tasks like mailing, sorting, filing, and/or batching of documents.
2. Distribute mail
3. Process all in-coming mail and prepare outgoing materials.
4. Operates standard office equipment such as calculator, duplicating machine, FAX machine, etc.
5. Data & order entry as necessary
6. Create and/or maintain logs, databases, and other records manually or electronically.
7. Picks and mails repair parts for customers
8. Provides support to the accounting department to track freight expenses, claims & customer service issues.
9. Completes special projects and other duties as assigned
10. Lifts up to 35 lbs without assistance
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and database systems preferred.
Skills: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, typing, basic math.
