Job Duties Include:
- Finalizing proposals, letters and reports (reviewing, editing, and formatting carefully and accurately) and then emailing to clients.
- Responding to emails/client inquiries via email in a clear, concise, professional manner.
- Update project managers when signed proposals are returned; following up on down payments.
- Weekly Bank deposits
- New employee orientation (provide forms, review of office procedure)
- Place ads for new job openings
- Provide customized Certificates of Insurance per client’s request
- Provide W-9 as requested
- Daily electronic file management
- Answering phones and troubleshooting or directing calls
- Manage/track employee schedules, update sign-out sheet, update calendar with vacation/sick requests
- Order office supplies as needed, including break room and restroom supplies (i.e. coffee, paper towels, etc.)
- Provide Human Resources assistance – provide forms/documentation, review basic office procedure
- Troubleshooting as needed (office equipment, IT issues, power outages)
- Retrieve and process daily mail

- Ability to trouble-shoot glitches with computer programs/information technology
- Reliable, responsible, organized, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a small office environment
- Knowledge of geology or earth sciences helpful
- AA or college degree preferred; High School diploma required
