PT Receptionist/Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Seeking experienced Receptionist/Office Manager/Bookkeeper for a small Direct Primary Care medical practice.

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist/Office Manager/Bookkeeper who is well-organized and friendly, with a high level of patience and work integrity. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with focused attention to detail, flexibility, and a desire to learn and take on new assignments. This position is responsible for the accurate creation and maintenance of patient charts, billing records, the timely processing of transactions, the safeguarding of practice assets, and the confidentiality of patient records. Basically, this person in this position handles all non-medical tasks for the office and must deal with two sweet, but poorly-trained, Chocolate Labs.

Job Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping (QuickBooks)

o Accounts Receivable, including invoicing clients

o Accounts Payable

o Payroll

o Local/State/Federal Taxes

General Office Support

o Receptionist

o Opening/Closing of Office

o Assisting with basic tech support as requested

Marketing

o Creating and posting marketing materials

o Website refresh

Flexibility:

o Expect the job description and responsibilities to change and grow over time

Location and Hours:

The office is located on Bainbridge Island, WA. PT hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10:30 am to 5:00 pm (six-hour shifts with an additional 30-minute unpaid lunch break).

Skills Required:

Proficiency in QuickBooks

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP)

Must be proficient in the use of computers and related software

o PC and Mac

Must be organized, detail-oriented, efficient, responsible, and punctual

Experience/Education Required:

Minimum of 3+ years of office experience

Minimum of 2+ years bookkeeping experience

Compensation/Benefits:

Hourly compensation $28

No paid vacation, sick leave, or holidays

Primary Care provided if desired. Medical insurance is not provided
