We are currently assisting our client, a small, award-winning medical clinic, with a search for a Patient Care Coordinator - Front Desk.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position functions as an integral member of the healthcare team to deliver exceptional service to patients. This position is an ideal fit for a person who enjoys helping people in need.

Duties and Responsibilities

Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone

Maintaining exact and complete sign-in/sign-out procedures for patients

Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues for follow-up

Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling

Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions

Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records

Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims

Communicating with patients about their status and condition through emails, phone, text, and face-to-face conversations

Managing patient accounts and updating patient information in a confidential manner

Scheduling patient visits and answering questions, including questions about billing and preparation for appointments

Verifying insurance information is accurate and input accurately

Ensuring services comply with state and federal regulatory requirements

Transferring all patient information into electronic medical records

Providing general clerical and administrative support to all levels of professionals

Receiving and sorting out e-mails, text messages and deliveries

Ensuring that common areas in office premises are equipped with required office supplies

Opening and/or closing the office

Skills and Qualifications

Teamwork to coordinate with health care providers

Strong verbal communication skills to communicate with patients and health care providers

Interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients who may be upset or stressed

People skills to connect emotionally with patients and health care personnel

Excellent judgment, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

Strong project management and multi-tasking skills

Organization and time management to manage a variety of tasks effectively.

Attention to detail to schedule patients and communicate scheduling conflicts with providers.

Technological skills, such as using word processing and spreadsheet programs to track data.

Ability to move around in the office to quickly help patients and move clinic supplies.

Location: Bellevue, WA – onsite only, this is an in-person position

Schedule: Full Time onsite, 9:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Work sponsorship is not available at this time.

Compensation Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.
