ABOUT: Short Term & Vacation Rental Company is looking to hire a Regional Property Manager based in Seattle, WA. This person will work in and around Seattle in parallel with other team members, to help ensure that our properties are at their best and that our guests feel welcomed upon their arrival and during their stay. This is an essential role which most importantly will be inspecting vacation rentals, making sure they are ready for guests, stocking guest supplies, and working out the details needed for the smooth running of our field operations.
The Regional Manager will also lead new owner sales growth in the market through a combination of headquarters-supported lead generation efforts and their own business development efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES (what you’ll do):
Learn our systems, pitch, and processes in order to communicate relevant information to potential customers
Meet new prospective clients/leads (homeowners), on-site, for property consultation.
Get properties rental ready (following our checklist)
Be intimately familiar with each home’s well-being, know every moving part of how the home is presented
Identify & coordinate the best vendors (cleaning & maintenance) in the area
Audit cleaners constantly, making them accountable to our cleaning requirements
Perform pre & post guest inspection of properties
Report on site issues (with photos, write ups, etc.) for damage claims
Identify issues and/or quality assurance concerns proactively
Perform light maintenance/troubleshooting as needed
Respond to ad-hoc to guest or homeowner related issues and solve problems
Work weekends and holidays too (flexible hours)
REQUIREMENTS (what you’ll bring):
Self-starter, with an extreme attention for detail
Professional, friendly demeanor and strong attention to detail
Customer service experience or strong interest in travel, lodging, and/or customer service
Great problem solver who is able to handle challenges when they appear
A reliable car is a must as the tasks related to this role predominantly occur in the vacation rentals
Good eye for staging, cleanliness, and guest readiness of high quality vacation rental homes
Extensive knowledge of your local region and solid network of contacts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
Flexibility on working hours (24/7 spirit) to accommodate guests’ travel schedules
Available to respond and meet guests on all weekends (including holidays)
You must own a smartphone and be comfortable using it to take several pictures and videos from every event
General online technology savvy like Google Apps
Hospitality, real estate, property management or sales background is a plus
The regional manager will need to be able to respond swiftly without delay and complications when required. If you can’t pick up and go on an on-call evening or weekend to solve a problem when necessary then this is not the right role for you.
24/7 spirit and availability (non-emergency) to guests, always maintaining exceptional service standards for all property guests
