Sales Associate (Part-time Day Shift) - Bellevue

TOM BIHN is a baggage designer, manufacturer, and direct-to-consumer brand based in Seattle, WA. Founded in 1972, we make bags for everyday carry, work, travel, day hiking, and more. We focus on using the highest quality fabrics to make thoughtful, timeless designs.
We are seeking a part-time Retail Customer Service Associate to join the TOM BIHN team, in our newly acquired retail space at the Bellevue Square Mall. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will assist customers with inquiries, provide product information, handle transactions, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. This position requires a flexible schedule, including mornings extending to early afternoons, and weekends.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their inquiries
Provide product information, including features, benefits, and pricing
Assist customers with finding the products they are looking for and offer recommendations as needed
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays
Handle customer complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues to management when necessary
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience for customers
Handle incoming calls and emails as needed
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Availabilities to work mornings extending to early afternoons, weekends, and holidays as needed
Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay ranges from $18 to $21.
Anticipate weekly work hours from mid morning to afternoon from 15 up to 30 hours during peak periods
