We are seeking yard help for our landscape supply yard. This job would entail loading customers as well as helping homeowners and contractors with product selection for their design ideas and projects. After selecting, orders would be taken or material found and loaded. Loading is done with a machine and hand loading as needed.
Qualified applicants will be personable, friendly and not afraid to learn to run equipment, move material by hand or other labor. Excavator, front end loader and/or bobcat experience preferred but we are willing to train.
Duties Would Include:
Building good rapport with customers and regular clients
Loading customers in the yard, both by hand and with equipment
Loading dump trucks and contractors with material
Helping customers find and select landscaping products for order or loading
Maintaining stock, holds and checking stock
Skills Needed:
Heavy equipment experience or a desire to learn
Ability to hand load as needed
Superior customer service and communication skills
Good memory
Ability to interact positively with a variety of coworkers and customers
Professional in a casual work environment
