Role Overview: As a Supply Sales and Bid Coordinator, you will be integral in understanding customer needs and identifying new business opportunities. You'll oversee document control, engage in inside sales activities, and provide crucial administrative support to our team. You will be responsible for daily bid list updates, managing the bid calendar, maintaining proposal folders, and communicating effectively with contractors and engineers. Additionally, your role will involve supporting the development and implementation of marketing materials. Here is what the role entails:

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the estimating team to analyze project requirements and assist with costing.

Engage in warm calls to nurture relationships with current and past bids while actively seeking out new opportunities through cold calls.

Research potential accounts, identify key stakeholders, and generate interest in our services.

Assist in developing and implementing marketing materials to support business development efforts.

Manage document control and bid calendar for the department.

Update bid lists daily and maintain the bid calendar.

Organize proposal folders with plan updates, specifications, and addenda.

Conduct regular communication with contractors and engineers.

Support supply outside sales efforts and research new opportunities.

Manage administrative duties as required by the team.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

1-2 years of sales or administrative experience in the construction industry preferred, but not necessary.

Proven track record in inside sales roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal - with a keen eye for detail.

Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting or with the ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage tasks efficiently.

Positive attitude, self-starter mentality, and a proactive approach to learning.

Flexibility in adapting to changing job duties and priorities.

High school diploma required; college degree is a plus.

Experience in a similar role within a related industry is advantageous.
