Position: Special Events Manager
Position Summary:
-Lead and manage all event sales, coordinating all logistics for events booked directly and act as the liaison for outside vendors to ensure top-notch execution.
-Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
-Host weekly BEO meetings with multiple departments to ensure successful execution of events.
-Collaborate with Director of Sales, General Manager, Marketing and Operations to expand restaurant event sales network.
-Identify and pursue new business, expanding revenue streams and company s event sales network.
-Analyze sales data and trends, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales performance.
-Work with General Manager, Executive Chef and Director of Sales to manage event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
-Present for client events at restaurant to insure smooth delivery of arrangements.
-Responds quickly to guest request in friendly manner, follows up to ensure satisfaction.
-Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
-Respond to incoming phone calls, leads, send receipts, input sales numbers.
-Perform weekly as well as monthly goals for prospecting + outreach to local companies and hotels.
-Organization skills are imperative, along with written and verbal communication.
What We re Looking For:
-Minimum 1-2 years in event sales.
-Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
-Team management skills.
-Detail oriented, able to anticipate needs of client through concise communication.
-Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
-Get along well with others and be a team player.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, build and maintain relationship with clients, nearby hotels and fellow event planners.
-Catering sales or background is a plus
