City of Seattle Parks and Recreation is seeking a full time Golf Course Equipment Mechanic. This is one of three positions that service the 4 City of Seattle Golf Courses. This position works independently and is under general supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent. You will be performing diagnostic, maintenance, and repair on a variety of turf and construction equipment.
We offer a 40-hour work week, with only occasional overtime, paid at double time. City Employees get 12 paid holidays, 12 sick days, 2-4 personal holidays, and 12-30 vacation days per year. The vacation accrual rates will increase the longer you work. The City offers a generous benefit package for you and your spouse/partner & children with an excellent retirement pension plan. All tools are provided and you have access to a City truck during working hours. Free golf & driving range use is included at the four City golf courses and food discounts are offered during your shift. Yearly boot & clothing allowance of $350 is also offered.
This is a union represented position and a yearly COLA pay increase has been negotiated through 2026.
