Seeking a kind, positive, compassionate, experienced dog groomer for our small dog grooming salon.
Required:
-2+ years experience, able to groom all breeds, scissoring ability, primarily for refining shape and blending clipper work
- Punctual, arrive 5-10 minutes before your first dog to get settled and check your client in
-Ability to bathe/dry and groom 4-6 dogs per day (we are open Saturday however, working Saturday is optional)
-Check your dogs in and out and build a relationship with clients
-Must have your own tools that are maintained and cleaned regularly
-Ability to work safely and efficiently (dogs are expected to be finished in 2-3 hours)
-Must be patient, and kind to the dogs and owners at all times
-Friendly with excellent customer service skills
-Knowledge of breed standard haircuts and ability to complete them with minimal direction
-Willing to accept feedback and improve
-Willing to use and learn MoeGo software (app) for booking and communicating with clients via text
- Clean station and kennels daily, laundry, and help open and close shop as needed
