Job Description
Reports to Manager
Performs varying scopes of electrical work Industrial/Commercial
Sizes electrical components in accordance with NEC and NFPA requirements Reads line schematics and troubleshoots electrical circuits
Provides electrical support for industrial automation systems
Provides support to the journeyman electrician, or lead/project manager for that specific jobsite.
Training/Experience/Skills
Possess an active WA State trainee Card. (or equivalent license with the ability to pass WA State requirements within 90 days), Or is willing to be considered a technician, and not accumulate hours.
2 yrs+ experience as an Electrician
Willing to expand knowledge of electrical schematics and theory
Ability to read/redline drawings and schematics
Experience with industrial automation systems including feeder and branch circuits, servo systems, PLC controllers, VFDs, 480VAC 3-phase, and 24VDC voltage power distribution and layout.
Experience troubleshooting industrial automation systems, knowledge of I/O systems a plus
Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits using a multimeter
Experience bending electrical conduit
Experience installing cable tray a plus
Experience building certified electrical panels a plus
A studious attention to detail an absolute must.
Must work well with customers.
Flexible schedule a plus.
Ability to climb a ladder
Ability to use Hand Tools
Ability and willingness to travel when necessary. All travel related expenses paid for, and competitive per diem paid.
Willingness to work overtime to meet customers needs and expectations.
Strong Computer Background
Self Starter
Job requirements:
Valid electrical and drivers licenses with a clean record, dependable, excellent punctuality, be motivated, eager to learn, humble, able to work independently or with other electricians. Must be able to pass a drug test, and background check.
