We are looking for a diesel mechanic and systems technician, preferably with Marine experience. Ours is retiring after 20 years with us. It’s a great opportunity to learn from someone with tremendous experience. RV mechanics have also worked well in this industry. We work on basic maintenance that includes things like oil changes, turbos, starters, alternators, manifolds, risers, engine alignments, exhaust etc. We also work on and install heating systems, sanitation systems, charging systems, electronics, and a variety of other jobs on boats. Not much is routine. We've been in business for over 35 years and have a long backlog of jobs from existing customers that need to be managed. This is not seasonal, we have never laid anyone off for lack of work. Pay will be adjusted depending on experience. Hours and days can be flexible.
We will be collecting resumes until Sept 30 2024 and then starting interviews.
