Job Description
A Advanced Septic and Construction Services (AASC) is adding a full-time permanent Diesel Mechanic to our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-sufficient and experienced mechanic who will work at minimum one weekend day weekly. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs at all levels on our fleet of vehicles and equipment.

Salary: $30.00 - $45.00 Hourly (DOE)
Schedule: Day Shift (One Weekend Day Required + weekday schedule is negotiable)
Required Skills
5+ years in a fleet setting
5+ years of Mechanical knowledge
5+ years of repairing and maintaining diesel and gas vehicles and equipment
Must be able to diagnose all systems
Must have strong electrical knowledge of vehicles and machinery
Must be proficient in welding and fabrication
Valid WA State Driver License
Repairing and Maintaining both Diesel and Gas engines
Repairing and Maintaining Fleets ranging from Light to Heavy Duty
Repairing and Maintaining a Variety of Construction Equipment from Mini to Full Size
Must be coachable and trainable
We may train the right candidate who possesses a high mechanical ability
Must have own basic mechanic tools
Preferred
CDL (Preferred)
DOT Certification in Air Brakes (Preferred)
Diesel Mechanic: 5 years (Preferred)
Welding: 3 years (Preferred)
Responsibilities
Repairing and Maintaining Trucks, Machinery & Equipment utilized in daily functions of Underground Construction
Performing Routine, General, and Specialty Maintenance, including:
Hydraulic, Electrical, and Pneumatic Diagnosis & Repair of Light to Heavy Duty Trucks
Completing Routine LOF Inspections & Annual DOT Inspections on Trucks, Machinery, and Equipment
Assisting and Completing the Fabrication of Parts and Tools necessary to complete specific tasks
Completing Repairs BOTH in the Shop and on Job Sites
Keeping accurate records of all repairs on Excel Spreadsheets
Complying with all Safety Regulations
