New Finishes (est. 1985) is a locally owned business, focused on providing local commercial and industrial customers with quality paint/powder finishes to meet end customer needs. We’re excited to be adding a Paint/Powder Helper to our team.
Our company services all types of local manufacturers and as a result we have work of all shapes and sizes, often requiring the use of a forklift and/or other material handling equipment to safely handle and move. Forklift experience is a plus.
Your job would be a full-time position in our paint and powder coating departments. You would assist personnel with general prepping (masking, sanding, etc.), sweeping the sandblast booth, hanging of parts, wrapping of parts, clean up, etc.

Daytime hours with overtime opportunity. Must be flexible with reliable transportation.
Job Responsibilities
Operate forklift.
Sand parts to prepare them for paint or powder.
Mask parts per instructions to prepare for paint or powder.
General cleanup of paint area.
Utilize and maintain all personal protective equipment in performance of assigned duties and tasks.
Assist with sweeping sandblast booths
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Dependable with strong work ethic.
Ability to operate a variety of power and hand tools and equipment.
Strong communication and organization skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively using verbal and written English.
Basic reading skills.
Forklift experience.
Able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs.
Must have the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch during your shift.
Able to communicate and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere.
Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Maintain schedule and tasks despite interruptions.
Reliable transportation.
Be able to take direct feedback on work performance and adjust as necessary.
