Responsibilities:
Drive assigned vehicle to and from job sites
Operate various power construction and maintenance equipment used in sewers and septic systems
Uses appropriate equipment and tools to identify, assess, and repair problems.
Flushes and empties septic tanks; performs other services required to maintain or repair tank and system
Cleans sewers and related structures including manholes, culverts, and catch basins
Measures sites to be excavated and marks areas for digging
Cleans and disinfects areas affected by sewer or septic stoppage
Updates maps and site drawings as modifications are made
Communicates with client about designated work and plans to proceed
Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have a class A or B CDL with Tanker endorsement and medical card
Knowledge and understanding of sewage and septic systems and repair
Ability to safely and effectively operate all tools and equipment required for repair and maintenance
Ability to communicate with office/dispatch
Clean driving record
Ability to pass drug screen
Bonus Employee Preferences
King, Pierce or Thurston County certified OSM or Master Installer
Bilingual Spanish/English
Excavator certified
