We are a Coeur d’ Alene animal hospital looking to hire an experienced veterinary assistant (full time or part time position). The applicant should be very comfortable drawing blood, monitoring anesthesia, placing IV catheters, using computer software and enjoy working with the public, dogs and cats. Although our goal is to maintain an organized and relaxed work environment, the prospective employee should also be very detail oriented and comfortable working under time deadlines depending on the patient flow.
Many of our current employees who really enjoy our work place have had prior successful work experience in moderate to upscale customer service positions such a retail and restaurant serving.
If hired, as a full time employee, you would have a starting rate of pay of $30/hour, full, high quality medical insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, above average salary, matched IRA and generous employee pet care discounts.
