Job Title: Self Storage Facility Assistant/Relief Manager
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20+ an hour (DOE)
Summary:
North Point Storage (an Authorized U-Haul Dealer) is hiring a Part-Time Assistant/Relief Manager. The role involves working every Friday, Saturday, and Monday, with extra hours available during the Manager's vacations or sick days.
We are looking for a motivated self-starter with excellent customer service skills, diverse office skills, and basic maintenance experience. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will manage daily operations, including renting storage units, handling customer communications, performing standard office duties, maintaining the facility, and managing truck and trailer rentals and returns.
Qualifications/Duties/Requirements:
Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, via text, or by email.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient with basic office equipment.
Typing speed of 40-60 wpm, accurate and familiar with keyboard shortcuts.
Skilled in document formatting using word processing software like Microsoft Word.
Efficient data entry skills.
Detail-oriented.
Basic cash handling experience.
Assist with cleaning and maintaining the facility, including minor maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash pickup,
painting, and weed control.
Assist with seasonal duties: shoveling snow, and deicing.
Assist in cleaning and maintaining rental trucks and trailers.
Assist in merchandise inventory, ordering, and organizing.
Ability to sit, stand, squat, bend, and walk regularly throughout the workday.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver’s license required; own vehicle preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Environment: Professional, yet casual business setting. Casual/professional attire required.
