Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Spokane, Washington. The selected candidate will be involved in various accounting and administrative functions within our industry. This is an immediate contract opportunity with a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will have entry level accounting skills and eager to grow and get hands on experience. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process invoices and payments Support payroll functions as needed Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy Provide administrative support to the accounting team Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable Handle data entry tasks related to accounting Use Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks Address and resolve inquiries related to billing and other accounting matters.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must for this role. Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and best practices. Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is expected. Previous exposure to Billing tasks is highly desirable. Must have a strong command of Data Entry processes. Aptitude for Invoice Processing is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for this role. Familiarity with Oracle software is beneficial. Knowledge of QuickBooks is highly desirable. Experience with SAP software is an added advantage.
