Field Systems Analyst II

KAMO Power, located in Vinita, Oklahoma is in search of a Field Systems Analyst II. The work location will be the Spokane, MO Facility. Job and pay grade will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.The Field Systems Analyst is responsible for troubleshooting, installation, testing and repair of carious types of complex telecommunications and computer equipment including fiber optics, Sonet equipment, two-way radio, SCADA, digital equipment, power line carrier, telephone systems, MAS radio systems, analog and digital microwave systems. Fiber installations including underground and aerial construction on distribution line structures and assemblies. Terminations and splicing of Optical Ground Wire (OGPW) and All-Dielectric Self-Supporting (ADSS) fiber enclosures and optical termination panels. Point-Of-Presence (POP) buildings, POP cabinets and microwave tower installations and maintenance.Ideal candidates should possess a knowledge of NESC standards and requirements, telecommunications transmission technologies for fiber optics and microwave systems, OSI network layers, Ethernet, IP frame and packet structure, TDM multiplexing and timing, electronic theory and AC/DC Power.An Associate Degree in High Voltage Line Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related discipline from an accredit trade school or university is required, plus three (3) to five (5) years of work experience.
