Internal Audit Manager

The Internal Audit Manager will develop and execute an effective global internal audit and controls program through the use of on-site and remote audits. Lead a team that works cross-functionally with other departments while evaluating policy compliance and implementing best practices. Ensure an effective internal control structure to mitigate risk with ownership of control-related activities and providing ongoing support and guidance. This is an exciting opportunity for an independently motivated accounting/finance professional with the capabilities and desire to build and expand upon Pyrotek's internal audit program and practices, as well as have an opportunity to build an internal audit team!Pyrotek enjoys a hybrid work environment where Team Members currently follow a three-day in-office work schedule.  Our office is located in beautiful downtown Spokane.Essential Functions/Responsibilities(This is only a portion of the essential functions.  Please see the full position attached to this job posting for full details.)Effectively manage and coordinate internal audits, including concurrent audits and projects. Prepare audit reports and communications to executive management.Develop procedures, schedules, priorities and programs for achieving audit objectives and goals.Perform annual risk assessments to highlight key focus areas and ensure prioritization of audits and related activities. Evaluate the adequacy and completeness of internal controls and related documentation, including the identification of key controls.Drive the evaluation, design, and implementation of internal controls for existing, changing, and new business models.Perform critical project management duties in the planning, scheduling, coordinating, reviewing and reporting of the internal audit program.Collaborate with and support the Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting Teams, as needed.Evaluate processes and procedures for continuous improvement. Provide feedback to improve global accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.Supervise, coach support, train and develop personnel in assigned area; resolve personnel issues, redirecting complex issues to management and HR in a timely manner; directly manage team members, including assigning and reviewing work, evaluating performance/compensation, resolving grievances, administering disciplinary action, interviewing employment candidates, and effectively recommending hires and terminations in a timely manner.

Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are adding a Talent Management Program Manager to our growing Human Resources division in Spokane, WA. The Program Manager of Talent Management is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Talent Management team, with an emphasis on the administration and optimization of PACE, McKinstry\'s Performance Management program. This position will work closely with the Talent Management team to create and implement project plans, develop frameworks, and ensure the delivery of key components of the Talent Management roadmap. The role will focus on driving the day-to-day execution of programs that support the overall talent strategy. Additionally, some responsibilities you will have include: Manage and execute the PACE Performance Management program, ensuring alignment with McKinstry\'s talent strategy and business objectives. This includes tight management of roadmap, annual cycle, coordinating and co-development of training and resources, continuous improvement, testing, reporting, partnerships and coordination with IT and our People Analytics and HR Tech team. Partner with the Talent Management team to develop and implement detailed project plans and timelines for the delivery of Talent Management initiatives that address talent gaps and workforce planning needs, ensuring deadlines and milestones are visible. Support the creation and maintenance of tools, templates, and frameworks that facilitate the execution of Talent Management programs across the organization. Track and report on the progress of Talent Management initiatives, including collecting data, creating reports, and identifying areas for improvement. Coordinate logistics and resources for Talent Management initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and support for senior leaders. Collaborate and co-create with Talent Management team members to ensure a holistic effort across all initiatives. Act as a Convener, when appropriate, for cross-functional (HR) efforts, facilitating and encouraging diverse voices, updating appropriate stakeholders and moving efforts to resolution. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry 5+ years of experience in program management or talent management with a focus on project management, execution, and implementation. Demonstrated experience in leading and managing performance management programs and systems. Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Exceptional project management and problem-solving Ability to navigate and thrive in a complex and dynamic organizational environment. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in HRIS/ATS/LMS systems, Workday preferred. Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service in response to questions from stakeholders and HR colleagues.
