Description Our well-established service industry client looking to hire a highly skilled Office Assistant / Accounting Clerk. This position may also include warehouse work depending on the candidate selected. This position will cordially and professionally answer the phone and greet all customers and visitors, assisting the President and Vice President of company.· Phone and counter customer service, including inside counter sales and quotes· Prepare quotes and bids in a timely manner· Check rental items in and out· Maintain and update customers resellers permits and certificate of liability insurance· Filing as needed· Inventory control of Stocking warehouse needsADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES· Seek to improve processes, develop best practices and ensure quality· Assist with other duties as required· Represent the company with a high level of integrity and professionalism· Encourage and promote a positive productive atmosphere in which co-workers benefit from your knowledge, skill and demeanor.SALARY: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour BENEFITS OFFERED:· Healthcare Benefits: 100% paid medical and dental for employee· Retirement Plan: 401k w/ a 3-5% discretionary match· Tenure based PTO plan - 1st year is 1-week, 2 years is 2 weeks, then 5 years is 3 weeks. Additionally, the company is closed the week of Christmas - New Years and this is paid time off.· Other benefits: Company caters lunch for whole staff on birthdays and anniversaries.Requirements PROFICENCIES· Excellent communication skills· Solid word processing and computer database skills with accurate typing/key boarding skills (40 wpm)· Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquires or complaints· Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks, good time management, organizational, problem prevention and problem solving skills.· Ability to work accurately and independently with close attention to detail· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information· Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines· Exhibit a professional business like appearance and demeanorEXPEREIENCE· QuickBooks knowledge is helpful- Will train.· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)· Construction background is highly recommended.
