Sr Business Systems Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTIONJob SummaryA successful candidate will have a balance of business insight, critical thinking, strong communication and analytical skills. Possess the ability to work independently, self-navigate organizational and technical challenges. Performs research and analysis of healthcare claims data, pharmacy data, and external data to derive proper courses of action for remediation. This role will support processes for multiple lines of business as related to cost share accumulators.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

Participates in defect resolution for assigned component

Assists with development of configuration standards and best practices while suggesting improvement processes to ensure systems are working more efficiently and improve quality.

Assists in planning and coordination of application upgrades and releases, including development and execution of some test plans.

Participates in the implementation and conversion of new and existing health plans.

Completes analysis on retroactive claims reports

Pre and post validation of complex retro reports.

Submit RFCs in iServe, and validates after completion.

Researches and reviews issues identified by the HPs and CIM to determine root cause of the issue and what updates are needed to resolve it.

Write requirements and for reports and development projects for cost share accumulator processes to be built by the TCIM Development team.

Writes/runs simple SQL scripts to validate retro reports and pre-prod reports.

Monitors and tracks fee schedules progress providing updates to the HPs once they have been completed.

Understands QNXT and claims functionality. Requires assistance with schema from Tech resource or Lead Analyst.

Writes Requirements for BRDs/FRDs and Reports.

Complex requirements with some mentoring

Moderate to Simple requirements without needing mentoring

Works with Technical resource for schema/solution

Manage projects from requirements to deployment, including work assignment, prioritization, issue triage etc.

    Description As a member of the Wealth Management and Advisory Services Investments (WMASI) team, participates in the management of client investment portfolios with the goal of exceeding client expectations. Monitors and maintains WMAS Investments SharePoint site, analyzing and recommending changes to improve efficiency and use of the site. May serve as record keeper for TIC meetings. Updates and maintains various databases used by the WMAS Investments team, including Excel worksheets, Morningstar, Bloomberg, Baker Hill, Smart Left, etc. Generates reports and report packages for Client Portfolio Managers, meetings, and regulatory reporting purposes, including reports for Trust Investment Committee (TIC), WTB Holdings, FDIC/Internal Audit requests, etc. Regular, reliable attendance is required. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Completes account maintenance, including account set-ups and closures. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field. Knowledge of state and federal regulations and WTB policies relating to wealth management. Knowledge of fiduciary or investment procedures, documentation, and processing requirements. Strong technical skills, with proven professional experience utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Internet, and PC-based business applications. Experience with Power Automate, PowerBI, Power Query preferred but not required. Strong analytical skills: ability to review and present complex data in an organized, logical format. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team environment with multiple tasks and deadlines occurring on a regular basis. Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy as needed to deliver a quality product Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the interpersonal ability to deal tactfully and effectively with diverse groups of people. Exhibits proactive thinking and strong foresight, anticipating the evolving needs of the business. Pay Range: $20.04 - $30.09 per hour The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, Washington. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is eligible to participate in an applicable annual bonus plan.
