Farm Worker: Weekend Chore Worker

Need someone to do weekend chores every 5th week OR two to three times in a 5-week period. Chores take 5 to 8 hours per day. Need dependable transportation. Must be 18 years of age. $18.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on work experience. Chores include: 1) Starting the feed augers in the Cold Nursery and Open Front Barns, 2) Feed Farrowing Barns (4 different rooms), 3) Feed Gestation Barn, 4) Breed sows that are in heat, 5) Feed Breeding Barn, 6) Hose manure in Open Front Barn, 7) Scrape manure in Cold Nursery, 8) Hose and Feed Hot Nursery, 9) Scrape manure in Big Barn, 10) Walk thru Finishing Barn, 11) Process any new litters that are born. While doing the above chores check that all feeders are working, look for any sick pigs. This is a 220 sow, farrow to finish operation, 4300 total pigs. LOCATION IS 25 MILES NORTH OF PULLMAN WA.
