We are seeking a detail-oriented Receptionist/Bookkeeper/Legal Assistant to join our team! Our law firm focuses primarily on plaintiff personal injury cases, including motor vehicle collisions, products liability, and medical malpractice.
The ideal candidate will excel in data entry, office management, and administrative tasks. This position offers a chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment that values accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet clients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Maintain and organize client files, both electronic and physical.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation.
- Manage office supplies, maintain inventory, and keep the front office space organized and tidy.
- Handle all bookkeeping duties, including but not limited to QuickBooks, ProLaw, balance sheets, accounts receivable/payable, and financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks (legal office software experience preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and legal administrative procedures is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office technology.
